We save lives by putting vulnerable road users at the heart of connected transportation infrastructure.

As technology helps us to re-imagine transportation, we risk continuing a 100-year trend of prioritizing cars in our transportation networks. However, advances in consumer mobile technology afford new opportunities to center our connected transportation infrastructure on our most vulnerable road users (VRUs). At Bluespot Labs, we believe in moving from a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) mindset to a VRU-to-everything (VRU-2X) mindset. We believe that our first road safety priority is to arm pedestrians, cyclists, and other VRUs with data and infrastructure that senses, anticipates and prioritizes their safe passage.
